| Journal description [English] | The IJIE has as mission is to contribute to the dissemination of knowledge in the area of Industrial Engineering and related areas, through the dissemination of scientific articles. Special attention will be unpublished articles and papers published in Proceedings of international conferences in the expanded version. It is understood, in the latter case, the importance of disseminating the articles published in these congresses, by the fact that not all people have access to them. Will not be accepted articles which involve only bibliographic review, except in cases that use the theoretical-conceptual that represents the state-of-the-art knowledge in the area. In this case must be proposed new models and new interpretations, which are relevant to the area of Industrial Engineering and related areas. | |
| Journal description [Portuguese] | O IJIE tem como missão contribuir para a disseminação do conhecimento na área de Engenharia Industrial e áreas correlatas, mediante a divulgação de artigos científicos. Serão privilegiados artigos inéditos e artigos publicados em Anais de congressos internacionais, em versão expandida. Entende-se, nesse último caso, a importância de divulgar os artigos publicados nesses congressos, pelo fato de que nem todas as pessoas têm acesso aos mesmos. Não serão aceitos artigos que envolvam somente revisão bibliográfica, exceto em casos que utilizem referencial teórico-conceitual que represente o estado-da-arte do conhecimento na área. Nesse caso devem ser propostos novos modelos e novas interpretações, os quais sejam relevantes para a área de Engenharia Industrial e áreas correlatas. | |
